We control friction
and vibration
Our bearings offer minimal friction.
Our dampers offer controlled vibration.
Three decades of precision manufacturing, from crankshafts in 1992 to bi-metal and tri-metal bearings, bushes, thrust washers and hydraulic railway dampers today — cast, machined and validated in-house, for the machines that are not allowed to stop.

Bearings & bushes
Bi-metal and tri-metal engine bearings, bushes and thrust washers, running copper-lead and bronze linings on a hydrodynamic oil film. Produced to customer drawing by automated centrifugal casting, from 40 mm to 510 mm diameter.
Suspension & dampers
Hydraulic railway dampers that convert the energy of vibration into heat, controlling oscillation across the bogie. Valving tuned and verified on our own test rigs, across the primary and secondary suspension.
Nothing leaves this plant
that we did not control.
We melt the alloy, cast it onto the steel, plate the overlay and verify the chemistry ourselves — with no subcontractor between your drawing and your part. That is what lets us change a specification when your duty changes, and why the accountability for every batch stays with us.
Cast in-house
Automated centrifugal casting produces a dense, sound lining, metallurgically bonded to the steel — up to 510 mm diameter.
Machined to drawing
Bores, wall thickness, oil grooves and locating features cut to the tolerance your drawing specifies.
Chemistry verified
Composition confirmed by in-house spectrometry, with every batch traceable back to the melt.
Proven on our rigs
We hold the equipment to test engine bearings across the full 40–510 mm range, and to tune every damper.
Wherever the load never stops
Nine industries trust Saarvam with the running surface.
Certified to the aerospace standard
Four standards, independently audited — not claims we make about ourselves.
The internationally recognised quality management standard for the aviation, space and defence industries — independently audited, and demanding full part traceability, risk and configuration control, and a zero-defect discipline on every part we ship.
The product meets the specification, batch after batch.
Resource use and pollution controlled across the plant.
A safe working environment for the people who make the parts.
